When I first visited this workshop, I was surprised to see female employees operating the knitting machines by hand, without the use of any power source.
This is a small workshop located in a village in northern Italy near the Swiss border, with views of the European Alps up close.
The current head of the family is the second generation, and the third generation took over last year.
Although we are a small company with only five knitting machines, the quality is top-notch.
We also produce products for a very famous Italian knitwear brand that many of you are familiar with.
Every time I visit this factory, I am reminded of the high quality of Italian products.

Vintage fabric tie
This is a tie manufacturer based in Milan with over 90 years of history.
It must have been about seven years ago when I was touring their workshop in the basement of their office.
Among the fabric inventory that takes up one-third of the workshop, I found a group of fabrics that were labeled "50oz."
Surprised, I asked what it was and was told it was a vintage 50oz printed fabric in stock.
The dough is rolled into balls with a diameter of 7-8cm.
They were packed tightly into a space about 1.5m wide and 1.5m high.
I took out some of them and found they were printed fabrics with wonderful materials, patterns and colors.
Since then, nobunoza has been using vintage 50oz print fabrics, jacquard fabrics,
I have them make ties using linen fabric and other materials.
At the end of last year, we collaborated with this manufacturer to hold an order event for custom-made ties.
We selected the fabric, decided on the total length and width, and made each piece one by one.
It was very well received by customers.
We plan to continue holding similar order meetings on a regular basis in the future.
In search of a basic umbrella
This is a long-established umbrella manufacturer in Milan, founded in 1854.
At nobunoza, when a manufacturer visits, they select each shaft from their stock and have it made.
The shaft is made to be a single piece that runs from the handle to the tip.
The materials used are wood such as Malacca, ash and chestnut.
The fabric is basically black TWILL woven.
This material is the thickest and most durable of its kind.
Starting this spring, we will be creating individual clubs, with customers choosing the shaft material, pattern, and color.
We will do custom made work.

Perfectly fitting gloves
We are a specialized glove manufacturer with over 60 years of history.
Famous brands from Italy, France, the UK, and the US,
We make products for long-established shops in various countries.
To make gloves, the material is cut out using dies of each size and then hand-sewn by a craftsman.
To fit Japanese hands, all nobunoza products have been made approximately 6mm narrower in width.
After punching out the material to each size, craftsmen manually narrow the width of each piece.
We also have a range of sizes, starting from as small as 6.5.
This process is what allows nobunoza products to fit snugly in the hand.
For customers who still can't find a suitable fit, we also offer custom-made products with different lengths and widths.
For example, you could have the total length made to be size 8 and the width made to be size 7.
The glove should fit snugly on your hand.
If your hand fits easily into the bag when you first purchase it, it is already too large for you.
The more you use it, the more it will expand.
